There can be many reasons to hide your location from the websites you visit, from wanting to access regional content to testing services in different countries. However, with technologies like the Geolocation API, which allows location accuracy up to 10 meters, simply hiding your IP address by connecting to a VPN isn’t enough.
The Location Guard extension is the easiest way to change or completely hide your location in Chrome. Location Guard provides websites with inaccurate information about your location by adding a certain amount of “interference and noise” to your real coordinates.
It also gives you the option to choose a fixed location. It’s worth noting that websites can still determine your location based on your IP address, but with less accuracy.
