OpenAI | AI Voice Assistants
OpenAI recently unveiled new APIs for its voice AI models, called gpt-4o-transcribe, gpt-4o-mini-transcribe, and gpt-4o-mini-tts. These models are available through the OpenAI.fm API and the beta website.
Key features of these models:
- Voice customization: Users can customize the AI’s voice to their liking, including accent, tone, and emotion. This feature allows users to choose a unique voice for their AI.
- High accuracy in speech-to-text conversion: These models have high accuracy in speech-to-text conversion and voice recognition, especially in noisy environments and with different accents. They also support more than 100 languages, including Arabic.
- Application in call centers and voice assistants: These models are expected to be widely used in call centers and voice assistants.
